Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure as an SLP
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Comfortable evaluating and providing therapy for Pre-K through grade 12 students
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs
- Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Strong organizational and caseload management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students from pre-school through high school
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other service providers to support student goals
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs across a variety of grade levels
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the development of student plans
- Maintain detailed progress notes and perform ongoing documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
- Provide support, resources, and consultation to families and educators regarding speech, language, and communication development
