This contract opportunity places you at the heart of student development, where your expertise will support children from preschool through high school in reaching their communication goals.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid SLP license for Washington or eligibility to obtain
- School-based experience with pediatric populations (Pre-K - 12) highly desired
- Strong knowledge of speech/language assessments, interventions, and IEP processes
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable adapting therapy for diverse ages: Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY considered
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver speech-language therapy services for students in grades PreK-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct, consultative, and group intervention, tailored to developmental levels
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Support students academic and social success through evidence-based therapy
- Participate in meetings and contribute valuable perspectives on student progress
