An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers both full time and part time options and supports students from kindergarten through 6th grade, focusing primarily on the P-4 grade range. Youll play an integral role in helping young learners develop essential communication skills, with a manageable caseload of no more than 50 students.
Preferred Background & Licensure:
- Current WA SLP license
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Experience in school settings and pediatric populations
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices and SLP healthcare approaches
- SLP-CCC and/or SLP-CFY credentials appreciated
Role Duties:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-6, with concentration on P-4 students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Provide both individual and small group therapy sessions as determined by student needs
- Engage families and staff by communicating student progress and offering guidance
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
