Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Kent, WA, supporting students from pre-kindergarten through 6th grade. This contract position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours and includes a manageable caseload of no more than 50 students, focusing primarily on grades pre-kindergarten to 4th grade.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K-6 students in a school setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting as per school and state regulations.
- Utilize skills in teletherapy as needed to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Speech Language Pathologist license.
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare environments.
- Ability to manage caseload effectively while delivering quality care.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
