Job Description

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience or coursework in pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Dedication to fostering each childs full communicative potential
  • Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students, including those with diverse backgrounds and needs
  • Evaluate students speech and language abilities using standardized assessments and collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to both group and individual student goals
  • Coordinate with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster supportive learning environments
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and participate in meetings, case reviews, and professional development
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and regulations
