Job Description

A rewarding contract opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC, ready to make an impact in an educational setting near Kennesaw, GA. This full-time position focuses on supporting elementary and middle school students at a single school site for the upcoming academic year, running from August 4, 2026, through May 26, 2027. While the specific caseload details are still being finalized, you will collaborate with a dedicated team, fostering communication development and student success.

What Were Looking For:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Current and valid GA PSC educator certification (required for school-based SLPs)
  • Professional state licensure as an SLP in Georgia
  • Proven school-based experience supporting diverse student needs
  • Ability to complete and pass fingerprinting and drug screening requirements
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Enthusiasm for collaborating within a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in elementary and middle school settings
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on IEPs and intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate, timely student records and documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to help students thrive
