Step into a fulfilling role supporting students communication needs as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 20262027 academic year. This contract position is located near Kenner, LA, with work based onsite. Youll work full-time35 hours a week, Monday through Friday, following the regular school calendar.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is required
• Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice in Louisiana
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred
• Successful completion of required drug screening and fingerprinting prior to placement
• Previous experience in a school environment is advantageous, though strong new graduates are welcome

Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding speech and language services to a school-aged caseload (specifics to be determined)
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Maintain detailed records and progress notes in alignment with district and state regulations
• Serve multiple schools as assigned by the district, providing services in person each day
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development
