Exciting opportunities are available for motivated Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding contract experience within a dynamic school setting. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to make a significant impact on student communication and development, working alongside dedicated educators in the New Orleans area.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state licensure, or eligibility for licensure, in Louisiana
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
• Flexibility to work with varying caseloads and age groups
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Willingness to complete required drug screening and fingerprinting for credentialing

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation
• Collaborate closely with teachers, intervention teams, and families
• Adapt interventions to suit individual needs and ensure student progress
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions as scheduled
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA, FERPA, and district policies

Position Details:

• Full-time schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, aligning with the academic calendar
• Assignment length: August 7, 2026 May 27, 2027
• School placements and caseload specifics will be determined upon assignment
• All placements and employment offers are contingent on approval of the school districts contract renewal at the June 3, 2026 board meeting
