Working with K-12 students in a virtual capacity, this contract position offers the chance to make a real difference while working from the comfort of your own space. Using your expertise in speech-language pathology, you'll support students communication needs and contribute directly to their academic success through a teletherapy platform. With a schedule of 37.5 hours over five days each week, you'll enjoy consistent engagement and the satisfaction of seeing student progress, all while maintaining work-life flexibility.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP License (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience providing school-based SLP services, preferably with K-12 students
- Expertise in pediatric speech-language therapy, including assessment and intervention planning
- Strong skills in teletherapy, utilizing technology to deliver high-quality services remotely
- Excellent ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with students, families, and school staff
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP requirements
- Deliver engaging remote therapy sessions tailored to student goals and needs
- Maintain accurate records on progress and collaborate with school personnel and parents
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings, providing expert input on student needs and goals
- Stay current on best practices in both pediatric SLP and online service delivery
