This contract role is ideal for passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists seeking diverse, flexible options for the upcoming school year. With three unique openings available, youll play a key part in helping students reach their full communication potential alongside a welcoming, collaborative team.
Openings include:
- 1 day/week for 4 weeks during the summer, perfect for those seeking supplemental experience
- Full-time coverage from August through December 2026, providing continuity and deeper student relationships
- 2 days/week position from January to April 2027, offering a balanced workweek
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- California SLP licensure or ability to obtain before starting
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy to students with various communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and services
- Participate in team meetings and consult on student progress
