Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as an on-site Speech Language Pathologist. This position offers you the chance to work closely with a diverse school community, focusing your skills at a single school site with a caseload of approximately 60-65 students. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with full-time hours up to 37.5 per week.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, active Texas SLP licensure (required)
- Experience working with school-aged populations, ideally in a K-12 setting
- Fingerprinting clearance through the TEA (must be completed, can require up to 10 business days)
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking abilities highly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills essential for teaming with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services on-site to assigned students
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families in supporting student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student performance
- Participate in school meetings and professional development as needed
