Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain it
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate with educational staff
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment findings
- Deliver direct therapy and intervention services in both group and one-on-one settings
- Monitor progress, document results, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
