Job Description

A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school setting located in Katy, TX. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support students communication needs.
  • Maintain detailed records and progress notes in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and intervention strategies.
  • Provide therapy sessions in both one-on-one and group settings.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in educational settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of IDEA and other special education regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently and work collaboratively with school personnel.
