The contract covers a maternity leave from August 17, 2026, through September 4, 2026, with full-time hours from 9:00 am to 4:40 pm, Monday through Friday.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Current SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based settings, preferably working with students on the autism spectrum
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to create supportive and effective therapy sessions within an educational team
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students within the autism program
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for each child
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation requirements
- Attend IEP meetings as needed and communicate progress to key stakeholders
