Job Description

The contract covers a maternity leave from August 17, 2026, through September 4, 2026, with full-time hours from 9:00 am to 4:40 pm, Monday through Friday.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Current SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings, preferably working with students on the autism spectrum
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to create supportive and effective therapy sessions within an educational team

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students within the autism program
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for each child
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation requirements
  • Attend IEP meetings as needed and communicate progress to key stakeholders
