Job Description

Step into a full-time contract opportunity supporting elementary students with speech and language needs. This role covers a maternity leave assignment within a resource-level setting, running from August 17th, 2026 through November 9th, 2026. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:40 pm, providing ample opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' communication skills.

Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will support a collaborative school environment, working closely with educators, staff, and families to provide comprehensive speech services. The role is strictly onsite and offers the chance to focus on individualized support at the elementary level.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting, especially with elementary-aged students
  • Knowledge of resource-level caseload management
  • Ability to create engaging, effective therapy plans and adapt to a variety of student needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students on-site
  • Develop and implement IEPs in alignment with school guidelines
  • Assess, document, and track student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Communicate clearly with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain compliance with state and school district documentation requirements
