In this full-time, on-site assignment spanning from early August to late May, you'll play a crucial role in shaping student outcomes across a variety of specialized programs. By working across 1-3 campuses and engaging with students from kindergarten through high school (and possibly early childhood), youll experience diverse workplace practices and educational leadership styles, deepening your expertise and strengthening your resume.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Recent experience in a school-based or K-12 setting preferred
- Willingness to travel between several campuses
- Open to a dynamic caseload, with details finalized closer to assignment start
- Flexibility for early childhood assignments is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy to student caseloads (ranging from 1823 or TBD, based on school placement)
- Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and leadership teams
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school standards
- Support students in specialized programs, adapting interventions as needed
