Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility) for the state
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, recent graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational talents
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies for diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation regarding student progress and compliance requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Provide ongoing support and resources for classroom staff and student families
