Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility) for the state
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, recent graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational talents
  • Ability to adapt therapy strategies for diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in individual and group settings
  • Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support student outcomes
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation regarding student progress and compliance requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
  • Provide ongoing support and resources for classroom staff and student families
