Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current license to practice as an SLP in the state of Kansas, or eligibility to obtain
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working in a school setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to provide both direct and consultative services to a diverse student population

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy for students with articulation, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in line with district policies
  • Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families to ensure student growth
  • Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations to support student success
  • Participate in professional activities and ongoing development as needed
