Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current license to practice as an SLP in the state of Kansas, or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Experience working in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to provide both direct and consultative services to a diverse student population
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based therapy for students with articulation, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in line with district policies
- Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families to ensure student growth
- Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations to support student success
- Participate in professional activities and ongoing development as needed
