Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are welcome to apply
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input regarding speech-language services
- Adapt therapy techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
