Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational environments preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each students progress
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress notes, and required documentation
- Provide push-in or pull-out therapy sessions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Serve as a resource for staff on communication and language development issues
