Job Description

Step into an engaging Speech-Language Pathology opportunity supporting students at the elementary and high school levels near Kansas City, KS. This contract role runs from ASAP through late May 2027, offering a full 37.5-hour work week with flexibility built into your schedule. You'll collaborate closely with a motivated district team, delivering essential support across two campuses while helping shape positive learning experiences for your student caseload.

Ideal Background and Experience:

  • Active CCC-SLP licensure with experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Kansas SLP certification or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Ability to navigate a diverse K-12 caseload with professionalism and adaptability
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and self-management skills
  • Previous experience working on multidisciplinary education teams
  • Willingness to manage a larger-than-average caseload, with understanding that additional support is forthcoming

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering direct and consultative speech-language services tailored to K-12 students
  • Performing comprehensive assessments, developing IEPs, and tracking student progress
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, families, and the incoming SLPA to best support each childs needs
  • Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential documentation
