Make an impact supporting middle and high school students in a flexible, contract-based role as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This part-time position focuses on a caseload of approximately 30 students, with more indirect than direct services, providing the opportunity to build relationships and tailor interventions for unique needs. Your expertise will help foster communication skills and confidence in a collaborative educational environment.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged populations and IEP processes
- Skilled in pediatric speech-language disorders and interventions
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and delivery methods
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates with strong foundational skills
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess speech and language needs of middle and high school students
- Develop and implement individualized IEP goals in collaboration with special education teams
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy, prioritizing a majority of indirect services
- Liaise with teachers and parents to support student success across settings
- Maintain accurate progress records and required documentation
- Flexibility to adjust caseload if needed, with additional information available upon request
