Required Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience supporting students at various grade levels
- Strong understanding of best practices in school-based speech-language therapy
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments for students from early childhood through high school
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Providing direct therapy services to individuals and small groups
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and adapt goals as needed
- Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Supporting teachers and parents with resources and strategies to foster student success
