Job Description
This position is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services in a school setting in Kalamazoo, MI. The role involves working primarily with students in kindergarten through 5th grade, supporting their speech and language development as part of a contracted assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders among K-5 students
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Speech Language Pathologist license
- Experience working with children in early elementary grades preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of 22+ hours per week onsite
