Key Qualifications:
- Active MI Speech Language Pathologist license required
- Experience working within school environments, particularly with K-5th grade populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based interventions in a school setting
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a compassionate, student-centered approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for K-5th grade students
- Design and implement individualized educational programs and therapy plans
- Document student progress and maintain thorough, accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Serve as a resource for teachers and families, delivering strategies to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every childs voice can be heard
