Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity impacting students lives as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the current school year. This full-time, contract role is located near the Jupiter, FL area and follows the traditional school district calendar, Monday through Friday. You will work closely with a supportive district, collaborating with educators and families to deliver essential speech and language services to middle school students.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Valid or pending SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
  • Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, communication, and fluency needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate regularly with parents, teachers, and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports to comply with district and state requirements
  • Deliver both direct and indirect services to improve student outcomes and support academic success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities as needed
