Positions are available for both SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates, supporting students in a welcoming and collaborative environment near Stuart, Florida. This is a contract opportunity offering flexibility for full-time schedules, with part-time arrangements considered for the right professional. Youll work onsite and play a crucial role in developing communication skills that help students thrive.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida SLP license with a teaching certificate (required)
- Eligibility to complete district fingerprinting
- Accepting SLP-CCC and SLP-CF candidates
- Pediatric or school-based experience is highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth and inclusivity
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of communication disorders
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
- Adapt therapy plans based on student progress and educational goals
