Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida SLP license with a teaching certificate (required)
  • Eligibility to complete district fingerprinting
  • Accepting SLP-CCC and SLP-CF candidates
  • Pediatric or school-based experience is highly valued
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and inclusivity

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of communication disorders
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
  • Adapt therapy plans based on student progress and educational goals
