Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Active Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates welcome
• Previous experience or clinical rotation serving a pediatric and/or school-based population
• Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation
• Effective communicator skilled in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders, tailoring sessions to individual needs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and families, offering strategies and resources to support student achievement
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
