Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows considered
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Demonstrated expertise working with pediatric populations
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screening, assessment, and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to create therapy strategies that enhance students success
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records per school and district requirements
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing professional input and goal updates
- Offer consultation, resources, and support for teachers to facilitate classroom integration of therapy strategies
- Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
