Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP state licensure (Illinois)
  • Prior experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Commitment to promoting student progress and inclusion

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings for students referred for speech and language concerns
  • Design and deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students across grade levels
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and comply with all regulatory guidelines
  • Provide recommendations and support for classroom accommodations
  • Contribute to the development and success of a positive learning environment
