Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed for an onsite position in Joliet, IL, working within a school environment. This contract role involves providing speech and language services, including diagnostics and managing a small early childhood caseload of approximately 9-10 students.

Key responsibilities:

  • Administer comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development

Required qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) for school-based service delivery
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or equivalent experience in an educational setting
  • Experience working with early childhood populations is a plus
