These full-time roles will begin with the 2026-2027 school year, anticipated to start in early September and conclude in early June. With 2-3 positions available, youll have an excellent chance to collaborate with other passionate professionals dedicated to student success in a supportive educational environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required
- Eligible for NY state licensure as an SLP
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Enthusiasm for supporting students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students, tailored to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess, document, and monitor student progress and needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary collaboration, and team planning
- Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation promptly
- Engage with parents, teachers, and district staff to optimize communication and student support
- Provide onsite therapy, with the potential option of virtual services as the start date approaches
