A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work onsite within an elementary school setting in Johannesburg, CA. This role offers a full-time schedule from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, supporting an elementary caseload. The position requires a dedicated professional with experience in school-based speech-language services.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with school-aged children in an educational environment
- Strong skills in assessing and treating a variety of speech and language disorders
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Commitment to providing onsite services as the district prioritizes in-person intervention
Location: Johannesburg, CA
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Assess student needs, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student success
