A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for an elementary school setting in Jim Thorpe, PA. This contract role offers approximately 20 hours per week, working Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The assignment is set to begin on January 12, 2026, and conclude on June 5, 2026, with the possibility of contract renewals every 30 days through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for elementary students.
- Provide direct therapy services as needed.
- Assist with make-up therapy sessions to ensure continuity of care.
- Manage caseload effectively within the designated part-time schedule.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Experience in school-based SLP settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Ability to work within scheduled hours and adapt to fluctuating caseload demands.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
