Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children, K-12
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to a broad range of ages and developmental levels
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with IEP development, assessments, and progress monitoring

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students with varied communication needs
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation of student progress and services
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to help shape educational goals
