Exciting opportunities are now available for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make a difference in student lives. These are contract positions based onsite near Jersey City, NJ, supporting a dynamic and collaborative school environment with both full-time and part-time options.
Openings currently include four full-time roles (37.5 hours per week) and one part-time role (25 hours per week). The majority of cases are high school level, with an additional full-time opportunity in PreK-K and a part-time position at the elementary school level. Your expertise will help students achieve their communication goals while working alongside dedicated education professionals.
Qualifications:
- Valid NJ School Certification for Speech-Language Pathology required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings highly valued
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for making a positive impact on students development
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to a diverse student population, with assignments based on age group and school needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and monitor individual education plans
- Evaluate, diagnose, and document communication disorders
- Maintain detailed, timely records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Support students in building skills for classroom and social success
