Desired Experience & Skills:

• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates will be considered
• Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience is highly valued
• Strong foundation in assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for school-age populations
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
• Knowledgeable in IEP process and familiar with creating and implementing individualized therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students, interpreting results for educational planning
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with students IEPs
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to eligible students, focusing on improving functional communication
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and required reports
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success academically and socially
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and team consults as required
