Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a talented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support student success in a dynamic educational setting! This contract position, starting August 11, 2026, and running through May 21, 2027, offers you the chance to make an impact within a supportive school community. Work full-time for 37.5 hours per week with a diverse caseload at a bustling middle school. Bilingual skills are appreciated, though not mandatoryenthusiasm, clinical expertise, and a commitment to helping students thrive are what matter most.

What Were Looking For:

  • Current SLP license, valid in the state of Texas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience providing therapeutic interventions within a school environment
  • Ability to tailor communication strategies to meet diverse student needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, families, and administration
  • Bilingual fluency preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in line with IEP goals
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage progress documentation
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate cross-functionally with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adapt clinical approaches to each students needs and developmental stage
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports language development
