Step into an impactful opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students in the western Florida Panhandle for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role calls for both Clinical Fellows and SLPs holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who are passionate about empowering children and adolescents to reach their communication goals.
In this role, youll have the chance to provide high-quality speech therapy services to students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Youll work alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team, participating in IEP meetings and playing an integral role in shaping students educational experiences within a very supportive district.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure or eligibility in Florida
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates welcome
- Experience working in school-based settings or pediatrics preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service providers
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and evidence-based speech therapy to students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and student support team discussions
- Track and document student progress in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students academic and social success
