Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC credentials
- Valid New York SLP license (required for onsite practice)
- Previous experience providing speech therapy in a school setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and students across all grades K-12
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students in a K-12 setting
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, IEP conferences, and in-service training as needed
- Deliver both individual and small group therapy based on student needs
- Educate school staff and family members on strategies to support student progress and communication
