Key Qualifications:
- Active NY State Speech-Language Pathology License
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- TSSLD/TSHH certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in school-based settings is an advantage
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services onsite, managing a caseload of 10 sessions per school day
- Maintain one hour at the end of each day for documentation, planning, or collaboration with school staff
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and parents to foster student achievement
- Maintain strict adherence to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development as needed
