Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across multiple school sites in the Jacksonville area. This engaging, school-based contract runs from August 10, 2026, to May 28, 2027, and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse PreK-12 student population. Expect a varied, moderate caseload of approximately 60 students, as you travel between campuses to deliver quality speech and language services where theyre needed most.

Key Qualities and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure required
  • Experience working with school-age children across PreK12 is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
  • Willingness to support multiple locations in an itinerant role

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
  • Monitor student progress and maintain timely, compliant documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
  • Provide in-service training or consultation as needed for school staff
  • Ensure all credentialing, including fingerprinting and JLA badge processes, are completed to meet district requirements
