Exciting opportunity to serve as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a K-12 school setting in Jacksonville, FL. This contract position offers a rewarding experience providing essential speech and language support to students, helping them achieve their communication goals across diverse age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Assess, evaluate, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to meet evolving needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida SLP license is required
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes through evidence-based practices
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time contract role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Located in Jacksonville, FL
