Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
- Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school setting
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Comfort with diverse caseloads and creative problem-solving
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services, both in individual and group settings
- Deliver engaging sessions to enhance articulation, language, fluency, and social skills
- Promote a positive learning atmosphere and advocate for students communication needs
