Key Requirements:

• Valid NY Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
• Active Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Certification
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred, including teletherapy
• Strong skills supporting students with a range of abilities and needs, including autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbances, and Down syndrome
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students with mild to severe disabilities
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support learning goals
• Utilize creative and evidence-based strategies to enhance student communication and academic success
• Conduct assessments, maintain detailed progress records, and contribute to eligibility and planning meetings
• Engage in ongoing professional development
