As a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist, youll work full-time supporting a caseload of high school students, fostering their communication and academic growth in a collaborative and engaging educational environment.
We seek a skilled professional with a solid background in delivering both direct and indirect speech services. Your expertise will be essential in case management, implementing individualized therapy, and closely tracking student progress throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology required
- Certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid New York state licensure as an SLP
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working within school settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the case management for your assigned high school caseload, ensuring IEP goals are addressed and met
- Provide dynamic direct and indirect therapy services to students, individually and in groups
- Maintain detailed records, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support each students communication needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
