Work with kindergarten through fifth-grade students in an in-person role that allows you to build meaningful connections and foster communication growth. This contract position extends through the remainder of the school year, offering flexibility for candidates interested in full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time schedules.
Key Experience & Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and ASHA certification (or eligibility)
- Experience supporting elementary-aged children (K-5) in a school environment
- Strong collaboration abilities with teachers, staff, and families
- Skilled at conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and documenting progress
- Passion for helping young learners reach their communication goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and small group speech and language therapy sessions
- Screen, assess, and identify students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and report on student progress
- Educate and involve families and school staff in supporting student growth
- Create an inclusive, positive, and engaging therapy environment
- Participate in team meetings and provide input for comprehensive student support
