Make an impact in the lives of K-12 students by providing essential support as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract basis. This unique opportunity involves covering a maternity leave for eight weeks, starting next week and continuing through early November. Youll work three days per week, collaborating with students and educational teams to deliver tailored speech and language interventions.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid PA SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in a school setting, working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Effective communication and organizational abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across K-12th grade, consistent with IEP goals
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students needs and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to design and implement effective intervention strategies
• Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with district and DOE requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations to support student success
• Adapt therapeutic approaches to cater to a diverse caseload and evolving classroom environments
