Job Description

Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting students' communication needs as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist in the Washington and Greene County area. This contract opportunity offers two distinct full-time positions with meaningful impact, the chance to shape students school experiences, and a supportive professional environment.

Both roles serve diverse elementary student populations and involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and robust professional support. Training sessions are held August 13th, 14th, and (for one role) August 17th at the McMurray Campus (Canonsburg, PA), helping you prepare and integrate seamlessly. The school year begins in late August and concludes on June 3rd.

What youll bring:

  • Active PA SLP Educator Certificate (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and collaborative planning in educational teams
  • Flexibility and commitment to commute across multiple assigned locations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students (caseloads up to 50)
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and track progress
  • Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to support student development
  • Travel as required to cover designated school sites (for multi-site role)
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities
