Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in a K-12 school setting highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive environments for all learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct speech/language services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult with teachers and families to offer strategies for supporting students
  • Support educational staff through professional development as needed
  • Stay up to date on best practices for school-based speech therapy interventions
