In this full-time, onsite contract opportunity near Irving, TX, youll make a direct impact on early childhood students by providing evaluation, therapy, and individualized support within a dynamic educational environment.
Key qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior experience working in school-based settings, with early childhood populations a plus
- Solid skills in communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation
- Reliable means of transportation
Core responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for early learners
- Creating and monitoring IEP goals tailored to each students needs
- Delivering engaging therapy sessions, both direct and consultative
- Collaborating with special education teams, teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintaining accurate records and progress documentation as part of a multidisciplinary team
