This flexible, onsite role, located near Irving, TX, focuses on providing compensatory speech services to school-aged students. Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Current and active Texas SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) is mandatory
  • Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Ability to work onsite (remote or virtual options not available)
  • Adaptability to various student ages and caseloads
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language services to students as assigned
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students IEP goals
  • Complete relevant documentation in alignment with district procedures
  • Participate in school meetings as needed, providing professional insight
  • Adjust quickly to changing caseloads and support students across multiple grade levels

Summer Schedule:

  • Service dates: June 16-18, June 23-25, July 7-9, July 14-16
  • Workdays: Tuesday through Thursday
  • Hours are subject to change based on caseload and district needs
