Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in California for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with assessments, IEP development, and delivering therapy within K-12 school settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse students, teachers, and parents
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques based on individual student needs
- Organizational skills and comfort with maintaining thorough documentation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to determine student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students
- Partner with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required reports
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
