Job Description

This contract-based opportunity in the San Juan Capistrano area is seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to support local schools for leave coverage. Start dates are anticipated in mid-October and mid-November, with the assignment continuing until the return of the regular staff members.

In this on-site position, you will work full-time, five days a week, directly supporting a diverse student population. As an essential part of the educational team, you'll collaborate with staff and families to help students reach their communication goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active California SLP License
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to shifting needs
  • Strong collaboration skills with both staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services to students across assigned schools (number of campuses TBD)
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to evaluation processes
  • Document progress, maintain records, and communicate updates to appropriate stakeholders
  • Collaborate with educational staff to foster a supportive learning environment
  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to reinforce growth
