Essential Credentials and Experience:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license required
- CCC-SLP or CFY path considered
- Background in pediatric speech-language therapy, particularly in school-based or healthcare settings
- Experience with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Commitment to best practices in communication disorders and cultural competency
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy for K5 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress tracking in accordance with district and state requirements
- Engage in ongoing professional development and utilize current best practices in the field
