Your expertise will help students access learning and participate fully in school life. The assignment serves a diverse caseload, providing both assessment and intervention in partnership with educators, families, and support staff.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • California SLP license or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Prior experience in school or pediatric settings preferred, but strong clinical skill and enthusiasm considered
  • Comfort with evaluation tools, individualized education plans (IEPs), and progress documentation
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with varied needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, social communication, and cognitive-linguistic goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with families and school staff
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Support teachers and families with resources and strategies to aid student success
  • Supervise SLPAs or assist in the mentorship of Clinical Fellows, if eligible
